Welcome to the website of Cambridgeshire contemporary jeweller Denise Brown. Denise makes jewellery from her studio in the heart of the Fenland countryside, using hand-held tools and traditional techniques. Her jewellery combines bold, simple shapes, using textures and surface patterns for tactile and visual interest. Working mainly in sterling silver with high carat golds, she creates one of a kind pieces and works in small batch production ranges.

Denise also makes ceramics. Using coiling and slab-building techniques in stoneware clay, she creates decorative works with stylised designs which she fires in her studio kiln. Pieces are inspired by the sea, Suffolk coastline, and Fenland landscapes. A combination of dry glazes, oxides, and 22ct gold leaf are used to decorate the pots.
